Come to Ascension’s Fall Fiesta!

Save the date! We are hoping to see all of our Ascension parishioners, friends and neighbors at our annual Fall Fiesta next week on Sunday, September 11, 2011. We’ll start the day with a bilingual (English and Spanish) mass at 9:30 AM in the church. Immediately following the mass, you can join the community in the parking lot for music, dancing, and — of course — delicious food.

Latino members of our parish have signed up to bring some of their favorite foods from their home countries, so you can expect the culinary delights as you’ve enjoyed in years past. We are still looking for more people to bring food representing their own traditions; if you would like to bring a dish to the event, please contact the parish office at 612-529-9684.

Proceeds from food sold at the event will go to benefit the Our Lady of Guadalupe Committee as they prepare to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe this December.
